AGUILAR ACES CITRUS COUNTY

INVERNESS, Fla. - The thunder and lightning in the sky nearby was no match for the ground pounding TBARA sprint cars Saturday night at Citrus County Speedway as veteran Joey Aguilar out ran a 21 car field to score a popular victory in the 30 lap main event. An infrequent competitor this season, Aguilar had his Doro Racing 52 working to perfection this night as he started fifth and quickly made his presence known as young Dakotah Stephens easily set the early pace in his Ford powered mount. The yellow waved for a spin by Dude Teate on lap four but it was back to green with Stephens leadin...

RAIN FORCES DESOTO CANCELLATION

Severe thunderstorms have forced the cancellation of today's (June 21) TBARA event at Desoto Superspeedway in Bradenton, FL. Current conditions in conjunction with the area forecast preclude any possibility of getting the event in.
"We looked at all our available forecasting tools and they all said the same thing. It's going to keep raining," said TBARA President Lenny Puglio.
The TBARA leadership worked closely with the staff at Desoto to reach an early decision so that teams and fans could be alerted. Please check back at TBARA.com for rescheduling information. ...
